Donations Program

Uprising Breads Bakery has a daily program in place to respond to the many requests we receive for product donations. We refer to this program as “Donation at Close”.

We are particularly interested in providing assistance to groups involved with local poverty issues and make standing bulk donations to The Quest Society and The Vancouver Food Bank.

Our “Donation at Close” program provides bread (some baked goods occasionally) to the group of the day and works as follows: in the last week of each month we begin to accept donation requests for the following month’s “Donation at Close” calendar.

To apply to get on the calendar, submit your request via the form below. You may include your preferred days (maximum 2 per month) but we cannot guarantee your preferences. You will receive an email advising you on your request. Even regular donations must be set up again for each calendar month.

You will be asked to show up at the bakery just before we close at 7pm (6pm Sat and Sun) to pick up your donation. We do not require a charitable tax receipt.

  • The number we can best reach you at.

  • You can suggest the dates of the donation, if you don't know them you can leave the date fields empty and if approved you can select them later.

  • Your date is not guaranteed or automatically approved

  • If you donation request is approved you will pick up from the Venables Bakery Cafe location at the end of day.
  • Only files with the .pdf and .jpg will be allowed to upload.
  • Any further information you would like to include about your organization.
